Abigail's experiences includes:

Engineering management of technical documentation produced from tender to live contracts up to £1bn.
Contractor’s Engineering Manager (CEM) for several schemes including Moston Station Platform reconstruction, Flitwick Station footbridge, Hyde Central Station Platform and station refurbishment in a live station, Grade II Listed Garsdale signal box refurbishment.
The bid management of an extensive portfolio of major civil engineering and multidisciplinary schemes including Dalston Curve, Dinting Vale viaduct, Liverpool Underground Stations and Forth Road Bridge.
Site monitoring and forensic assessments for scheme continuous improvements at Rotherham and Newport Stations, DLR WAX modular construction and various motorway schemes.
Network Rail approved CEM in accordance with INI/02009. Engineering management of the design process from Grip Stages 0-8 for live contract works up to £5m for the East Midlands Framework of Route Clearance (13 No. structures) and Renewals (40 No. structures) including earth-retaining structures, tunnels/ infills, prestressed post tensioned concrete bridges and repairs, demolitions and reconstructions.

Responsibility for the contractor compliance with Network Rail Engineering Standards under NR bespoke conditions of contract.
Fergal Kiernan is an approved Contractors Responsible Engineer (CRE) for civil construction and is qualified as a Safe Work Manager with multiple qualifications/tickets for the rail industry. His key projects as engineering manager:
Civil Engineering Lead for LM & LFM Joint Ventures, managing PQQ & Tenders for Enabling Works and Main Route Civil Contracts on HS2
CRE as well as contracts manager for J Murphy & Sons Ltd on Numerous NR frameworks, stations, bridges, AFAs and united utilities.
Senior Project Manager and CRE for MPB Structures Ltd on NR projects, RC frames, tunnels, stations, bridges and united utilities.
Senior Project Manager and CRE for the Lee Tunnel in Cork, Republic of Ireland
